Our Story
Laying driveways the right way.
Hinchliffe was founded by Dan Hinchliffe, an engineer-led surfacing specialist based in Sandbach, where he lives with his wife Beth and their son Parker. The way we work hasn't changed since day one: every job is measured, prepared and finished to a standard we'd be happy with on our own property.
For us, a driveway starts with what's underneath it. The existing ground, drainage, levels and expected use all shape the construction. The finish matters, but so does the preparation you won't see once the work is complete. Structure First. Surface Second.
You'll deal directly with Dan when we discuss your project. He'll explain what he recommends and why, including any limitations we need to address before work begins — no sales reps, no handovers.
Today we install resin bound, tarmac and block paving surfaces for private homeowners and commercial clients across Cheshire and the North West. Our 5-star Google rating comes from doing things the same way on every project — clear specification, careful preparation and documented work.

We install Daltex resin bound systems. Product and system warranties are issued by Daltex under their own eligibility, registration and maintenance conditions.

Registered with Tobermore for block paving and permeable paving systems.
Hinchliffe workmanship cover
Provided by Hinchliffe for our own installation work. The cover, its duration and its conditions are set out in writing in your proposal, separately from any manufacturer cover.
Manufacturer product cover
Issued by the manufacturer of the specified system (for example Daltex for resin bound, Tobermore for paving) under that manufacturer's own terms. We confirm which applies, if any, in your proposal.
